Shaping our Age challenged negative perceptions of ageing by seeking to recognise the valuable economic, political, social and cultural contributions to UK society made by older people. It also sought to move older people from the margins to the centre of debates surrounding their well-being by supporting their active contributions to society. This report presents a summary of the seven key findings from the project. These have come from older people involved in the national well-being consultations and in the five local action projects carried out as part of the project.
